This book tells the story of Lumière, born in 2005 in Kinshasa. Having endured a difficult childhood marked by family tensions and accusations of witchcraft, he spent several years living on the streets. There, he discovered their rules, their violence, but also their rare moments of joy. The narrative follows his journey of survival, his gradual escape from the streets, and the lessons he learned from this experience.
